PDF documents should default to open in Preview (unless you have changed this)
Once the document is open select the preview drop down menu - select finishing - select 1 or 2 sided

Printing a Google Doc (within Drive) should default to the settings enabled by IT. If you wish to change these settings, please take your laptop to the helpdesk in person
